Now in its twelfth year, Exposure has been generously supported since inception
by Haringey Youth Service, which seconds key staff to manage the charity.
Exposure’s core activities are funded through a service level agreement with Haringey Youth Service. Since 1 April 2006 core costs have also been met through a grant from Haringey Voluntary Sector Team. Over the years, Exposure has widened its sources of funding. Haringey Children’s Fund has, for the last six years, funded Junior Exposure magazine. In the year ended 31 March 2007, Exposure secured funding through a Haringey Local Area Agreement to continue its volunteer recruitment, accreditation and internet activities, while other media activities were funded by the National Lottery, the Children’s Local Area Network Fund, Haringey Communities for Health and Mediabox, a new central government fund.
Exposure generates additional income through other fundraising and by carrying
out professional and ethical youth media-related activities, including advertising,
sponsorship, design, internet design, video production and consultancy services.

The creative
computer skills you teach to all
go towards building up their literacy, numeracy and
spatial awareness, as
well as developing confidence. The students really enjoy
coming and are always enthusiastic about the projects they are working on
with you.
