As an organisation dedicated to educating and developing young people,
Exposure recognises it has a special responsibility to provide relevant
training and development opportunities to staff who are themselves, in
the main, local young people at the beginning of their careers. Exposure
recognises staff training and development in the widest sense, including
induction, mentoring, job shadowing and attending relevant training events.
Where appropriate and practical, Exposure also allocates funds to help
staff meet their training and development needs. Over the past year Exposure
staff undertook training in working with young people in care, in educational
visits, in skills for life and in film production.

I have gained new skills in fundraising that will ensure young people can feel secure about the future of the project. I have a better understanding of Child Protection issues and have a greater appreciation of young people's needs.Gary FlavellDevelopment Officer
